im a new member and i would like to know who has the most miles on their nomad without any major repairs. mine is a 2005 and i have 24,000 miles without a problem

Mine is 02 with 14,700. It had 5900 on it when I bought it in May 2006.

Forgot to add repair. The front final drive shaft seal was replaced in July.

2000 Nomad with 42,000. Only repairs: A clutch spring at 18,000 and another one at 40,000.

I bought my Nomad in June of 04. Have right at 39,000 mile on her. No repairs or problems, just oil changes, new tires, and did the swing arm and drive shaft lube at 27,000 mile.... Plan on tackling the steering head lubrication this winter.....

I have over 39000 on my 02 and its ready for a clutch spring, there was a 04 Nomad on another forum that just turned 200,k a few months ago. that guy must ride day and night ! He said he has just done routine service, no major repairs. There are lots of bikes with way over a 100k on the clock. with regular maintenance the seem to run forever.

I purchased an 05 new in 05 and 15 months later it had 36000 on it with no repairs. Still had the noisy lifters. Then I purchased my 07 different color but thankfully I got to keep the noisy lifter sound. I have finally found a fix for the noisey lifter------don't start it.

The most I have heard was 200K on a 2003 Nomad. His name is QDog and he's from Georgia. By now he has more. I bought mine April 27 of this year and I have 6400+.

Nah, you're not in last place by a long shot. My 07 only has 1700 on it, but I've only had it a month and a half.

Well, not that I'm a winner by any means.........bought mine in June, 05, got 21,000 miles with nothing wrong. Just tire and oil changes. I did do the radiator flush, final oil changeout and new spark plugs at 20,000.
