Anyone know the widest tire you can mount on the front of a 2008 1600 Nomad and still keep the fender.
Thanks

I have the stock 150/80 on mine.
I'm sure someone knows how wide you can go.

What would be the purpose of a wider tire on the front?

I find it hard to believe he wants a wider tire so he can get more food in there.

Don't think it's going to be possible without modifiying the fender or getting rid of it all together. Not too sure why you want to do it either? Most people get a LOT more miles out of their fron than their rear and they are cheaper in the first place.

If the bigger tire actually gives you a bigger contact patch then it is possible it will offer better braking power. However, it will also offer more rolling resistance which will impact gas mileage at least a little.
