1999 Vulcan Nomad - Parts Bike - Trade for Tools or Cash (SOLD)
EDIT: Bike has SOLD
You can see my post history for the story on this bike. I went and fixed up everything but the engine because I was told the POG was good. Well I was lied to and it turns out it wasn't so now I have a bike that's all spruced up with new bearings, springs, rebuilt carb and all that boring stuff... but no engine. Someone could probably fix it if they were inclinded, I suppose. Asking for whatever I can get for this thing. I've already come to terms with losing thousands and thousands of dollars on this thing so now I just want it out of the garage. If you're at all interested in this Nomad get in touch and you can have a look. It's set up solo but I still have everything it came with. https://i.imgur.com/uhatjaM.jpg

Thank you very much, I worked pretty hard on it. This is a pretty nice Nomad, but the Nomad isn't the right bike for me. I'm still new at this and learning what works and what doesn't work for me. I'm also selling my 2011 Dyna Fat Bob because it's not right either.
There are no engines available near me that I can find, and I don't think the difference between what I could get for it being running versus how it is now, would even cover the cost of that engine, let alone the time, parts and all that stuff. There's one on eBay that would end up being almost $3,000 CAD to get it here. Just how it goes when you live in a small place.

If post #5 was meant for me, no problem. Just thought you might have wanted to share.

Sold the bike today, and I'll have a couple parts up for sale once I figure out what I want for them.
