New Vest

I had a question about where to put patches on my new vest. I assume the biggest one goes on the back, but are there guidelines about where to put the other patches (American Flag, State Flag, etc.) ? ??? ??? ???

I took my vest to a local custom cycle shop that has a seamstress that sews patches and does leather and jacket repairs. She placed my American flag patch over my heart, so I took her advice. Figured she knows more about it than I do. My AZ state flag went underneath it.

There was a day when you were expected to earn the patches you wore.

I'm a veteran. I think I've earned the right to wear the flag on my vest.

Are you sure? LOL.

I actually saw a seamstress at the local swap meet fixing a guy's vest that had a patch that was sewn through a pocket. The guy was so happy to finally have the pocket back. His wife was happy the lady could fix her mistake, lol.

Never intentionally earned the red wings but ... did earn them all the same.
