Custom painted Nomad

I have an awesome awesome opportunity to paint my Nomad this winter and I would like some of your incites and ideas. I really like how Indian paints their bikes. I think that I would like to paint mine willow green and ivory cream like show in this picture. What do you guys think?

I think it would look great!
You should think about putting a drifter/indian style front fender on it.

I have thought about it. I'll have to do some more investigating to see how difficult and $$ that would be.

I like the color choice, but I would use Fender Guitar color, Seafoam Green, very similar but just a bit paler.

I also think it would look really good, I love the nostalgic look of the older style bikes. Id try to get an Indian or Drifter front fender on the front if you could. Its an idea Ive toyed with a few times myself. It would definately make the bike stand out in a crowd.

I think it would look fantastic. I love the two-tone colors that Indian selects. My long-term goal is to also have an Indian front fender on my bike and repaint to a brighter color combination. I'm thinking about a red/cream color though. Or, maybe the darker blue/white combination similar to a Shelby Cobra. It's gonna be a ways off though.

Here is another page for inspiration. A Nomad which now has a Drifter front fender, teardrop headlight, and a Fatboy front end.

Does anyone know how you would get a front fender like that to fit over the brake calipers?
