Speed and Strength SS2200 convertible helmet

I have an almost new Speed and Strength SS2200 3/4 (open face/convertible) helmet for sale. I bought it a couple weeks ago, wore it 3 or 4 times then decided that I wanted the SENA BT system so I ended up with the Bell Mag 9. The SS2200 has a removable chin bar, full face shield and drop down (internal) sun visor. It has a rachet closure (I'll miss that) and good ventilation. This one is the matte black Spin Doctor version in XL. Never dropped or modified. It will come shipped in the original box with all original papers. (I could lie and call it brand new and nobody would ever know except me.)

I paid $161.95 for it. I'd like to see $150 out of it but I'd dicker a tiny bit if it would make you feel better.

I saw your post with no replies. Thought I'd give you a bump.

I already have 4 helmets that I rarely wear. That's a fine looking lid, I hope you find a buyer. I can only fit a XL in a half helmet if its a "long oval", 3/4 & full face I take a 2X. Even then I had to "customize" some of the interior foam with a hammer to get a fit.

Thanks, Mark. It's more of a medium to round oval. I've had to "customize" a few helmets myself. This one just happened to fit will without modifications as does the new Bell. I'm surprised it hasn't sold already. It's basically brand new.

The clear one. That's what it comes with. You can buy the smoked shield separately although you don't need it.

Not to hi-jack your thread, but what do you think of the Mag 9 Sena? I've been considering this helmet because I use the Sena units and I have yet to find a 3/4 helmet that suits me. If you would rather not discuss another helmet on your for sale thread, please PM me your response.

Curious about what? It's a nice helmet but it's not made specifically for a headset. The 2013 Bell Mag 9 SENA is specifically set up for the SENA SMH 10. I would have had to modify the S&S at least a little bit to mount the SENA. With the Bell, I can install the whole thing in about 10 minutes without modifying a thing.

Oh, and price is down to $130 plus shipping on eBay. Cheapest price EVER. I need it gone but I'd keep it for anything less than that. At that price, I'm losing $40 on what's basically a brand new helmet.
