Nomad repair/maint book for dummies

Anybody found a Haynes or Clymer or other book for a 2007 Nomad? I need help intstalling some electrical stuff. I purchased a Kawasaki Service Manual from the dealer, but it is too complicated for a duff like me.

I had one for my Connie and have looked but not found one for the 06 Nomad. Let us know if you come up with a source.

I purchased a light bar and led license plate. Got the driving lights on, but not wired. Need to figure out what each color wire is in the headlight bucket. Looking for the positive wire that is linked to the ignition. Thanks for asking.

This is posted on the Main KawaNOW ( http://www.kawanow.org/tips/lights/toddlights.htm ) page also and the write up I did....but here's the pic I took so it's a little easier to find for the driving lights...I mislabeled the number for the ground but its simple enough I think (it's actually the 85 terminal). Sorry for the big pic..but you can't see it unless it is blown up.

Stop by your local auto shop (AutoZone, PepBoys, Napa, etc.) and purchase a Test Light. It looks like a screw-driver but with a wire hanging out the end. When you attach the clip to ground and touch the pointed end to positive voltage, the light inside the handle illuminates. You don't need a wiring diagram to find power. In your case, simply locate the wire that only lights up after you hit the starter switch. I've done several mods and car stereo installs without ever having a wiring diagram because of this handy tool.

I found the Clymer at www.autorepairmanuals.biz/. The price was $24.95 with $4.95 shipping. They did send a $2.00 off coupon (code 4BT310) for future purchases. -Rich
