Both Nomads for sale

It is with heavy hearts that Brian and I have decided to sell our beloved Nomads and enter a new phase in our lives. We have had 23 years of constant motorcycling and 10 of those have been with the Nomads. With our first grandchild on the way, the purchase of 2 quads, and my Ruby getting heavier and heavier for me to handle each year because of arthritis, we have decided to do quadding as our entertainment for a while. We cannot see the point to having the Nomads sitting and not being used, so we are putting them up for sale. Motorcycling has been a rather costly hobby for us since a typical days ride of 500 kms cost us about $110 in gas by having 2 Nomads. The Nomads have been our favorite motorcycles and are wonderful to ride; we will miss them but the quads offer a new and different type of riding that is fun and challenging. I will be listing both of our Nomads for sale here first.

We have traveled thousands of miles on the Nomads. seen some amazing country, attended various rallies, and met some amazing new friends in our travels. We have thoroughly enjoyed each and every ride we have taken, whether it's 20 miles or 2000 miles, and the friendships we have made over the years are invaluable.

Sorry to hear that you're both moving on to other interests. But being a grandparent myself, I can appreciate those little rascals can quickly become a priority.

Let us know the details and prices when you're ready to list the Nomads. I'll see if I can persuade some of my Volusia Rider buddies that it's time to make the move up to a 'mad.

Well, just met you the one time at South Dakota rally but can tell from your post that whoever buys your nomads will get some well maintained machines. Enjoy you 'next adventure' ....becareful grandkids can steal you heart real quick (voice of experience). ;)
Drop in the forum once in a while....you know you'll have to share a grandkid pic! Take care.
This is an older on of my grandson (he is almost 4 now) but one of my favorites.

I have only been here a short time and while I understand the march of time and how interest, abilities and life changes things, I will miss your pictures and posts. Also as an amateur leather worker I have enjoyed the pictures of your wonderful leather work. You are truly talented and I will miss your advice, pictures and posts.

Why not just sell one Nomad and keep the other. Riding double shouldn't be as much of a problem for you. I have arthritis pretty bad myself. In my discs, ankles, knees, shoulders, hips and neck. But I won't allow it to slow me down. Have had four surgeries due to arthritis and a total of seven surgeries but I'm still riding.

Whatever you decide to do good luck and keep us all posted.

Hey thanks for posting the encouragement. I too am just now starting to get artheritis in some discs, spine and at this point can't imagine giving up my love and enjoyment I get out of riding.
