Stole the pegs off my Nomad

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1411741789.532322.jpg
Took the Kury mounts off my Nomad, had them and the vaquero running boards powder coated. Reversed the boards to opposite sides and bolted them up to the existing holes. Had to drill 1 bolt hole on each one. Not sure about the semi gloss. But wasn't sure I wanted flat.

You must ride different than I do.

Those would be right in my way when I put my foot down at a stop.

Never notice them at stops just when banking hard at the local traffic circle or circle of death as it's known locally.

Do the floorboards sit forward or backward from where they use to be?

I don't know who the brilliant engineer is who came up with that idea
Thay are more dangerous than the intersections they replace in my book.

The boards didn't move forward or back. The pegs bolt to the same holes as the skid plates do but..... The skids were on the back of the boards so I had to swap the running boards. Left to right... Right to left.

The instructions for mounting Kury cruise pegs is to reverse the floorboards one side to the other for the Nomad. Have been thinking about them but read that the floorboards move forward a little when they are put on opposite sides.

Stole the pegs off my Nomad

Wish I could move everything forward about 6inches and maybe it feel less cramped like the 07 nomad. Or the seat back.

Had those on my Voyager and yes they got in the way of putting my feet down. Got pegs for the engine guard.

I believe that's the set up you would use when riding side-saddle.

And get ground off eventually. Read the post on Another Motorcycle Accident. Running out of lean is no fun.

Again. They were on the nomad since 07 and I road Custer state park and all the twistys around Branson and eureka springs. They start scraping just before the pipes.
