Could you guys help me identify this white stuff all over the ground that I woke up to this morning??? ??? ???

(sorry, we get excited down here when this happens......oh, by the way, 65 and 70 on Thursday and Friday )

todd,
you have way more than we do up here. Nothing here on the "wet coast".
Can you say climate change?

Nice pictures! They was telling us we would be getting 1 to 3 inches here in N. MO. but we only seen a few snow flakes. The storm split and our part went south to you guys. Maybe it will help fill those low lakes in you area.

Sorry Todd, that wasn't snow. I don't know what it was, but it wasn't snow. Snow is cold and wet and ass high.... We have real snow here and if you go in the woods you need something called snow shoes. No gots, no go in the woods..

yesterday i was out cutting dead white pine trees down, to feed the wood stove since it's WARM now. That conserves the better carbon foot print woods for next year.

The thing is, I have never both worn snow shoes and cut down tall trees at the same time before, so I had some learning to do.

I had the bright idea I could pack the snow in shoes and then take them off to cut and then run a little ways on a 45 degree angle. WRONG.. I cut the tree alrighty, but the first step sent me straight down till my nads stopped the fall. There was no sign of earth anywhere.

I got about 6 trees over the weekend this way and find I just might be the fastest snow shoer alive...

Now that's some funny stuff right there now!!!

I can see you now macmac; running like h@ll from the falling trees.

Todd: actually your pictures look great. While I would like to tease you... the fact is... I just can't... especially since you don't have to live with it for seven months of the year -- combined with freezing temps the whole time.
