First ride of the season, sore butt

Woke up this morning, still looking at about a foot of snow on the front lawn up here in Haliburton ONT , Canada. The weather man called for 10 degrees and couldn't wait any longer had to go for a ride. First ride of the season and 2 hrs later I have a sore butt but it was worth it. Last fall I was thinking about buying a Air Hawk cushion for my voyager but have been holding off to see if anyone has tried them and had any luck with it [I was hoping it would stop the wife from complaining about her back end and get some relief for the pain in my neck if you know what I mean]. If anyone has tried them I'd be happy to hear from you.
Thanks George

Congrats on the first ride of the season. We have had a ton of snow here and still lots to get rid of, heck we were snowmobiling with mid winter conditions Last Saturday. Today
roads are mostly dry now and it was sunny and over 10c, so I got my bike out, washed it, checked it all over and am now ready for a ride Tomorrow. I'm wondering if it is safe to take down the Christmas lights yet!

I had my first ride to work on Thursday, then a real short one today.
It sounds like you may need a new seat, they can make a huge difference.

I can't remember what I did on Thursday, I don't think it was work though.

MMM last Thursday, let's see... I was able to ride all day...rode down the A1A, fallowed the ocean, and then rode past Cape Canaveral on our way to Cocoa Beach for lunch. I just got back home Sunday night, neighbour said I missed all the snow, LOL :)
Now I need to wait t'ill the street are a tad cleaner.

I got out for a first ride yesterday. It was 55f and a sun/cloud mix. Not too long a ride, about 50 km, it felt good I stuck to the highways which were dry and nice and clean. Colder and miserable to day, so the bike will stay parked for a bit again.
