Roadhouse vs Cobra exhaust

Looking to upgrade my stock exhaust. Does anyone out there have the Roadhouse Dooleys - how do you like them? I heard they closed their doors last November. Is that true? Those of you with the 4" Cobra exhaust - how do you like it? Which sounds the best?

Yes RH did close there doors. They sound great to me. Not loud and with a nice low tone.

If you decide to get RH pipes, send me a pm. I have a buddy who has a new pair that he'd like to sell.

How is the sound on the Cobra True Duals compared to the stock exhaust? Did you have to change out your airfilter and put on a fuel processor?

I love the sound. Louder than stock. do not NEED a fuel processor or air filter change just for adding the pipes....If you open up the filter breathing THEN you WILL need a fuel processor.....that being said, I do have a fuel processor and stock air (K&N filter)

I have the RoadHouse Dooley's on my Drifter and I love them. Nice low, deep rumble and not too loud at highway speeds. I have Vance & Hines on my Nomad and prefer the RoadHouse. Buy Jareds friends Dooley's, you won't regret it.

what daBull said!also if i were to buy the roadhouse pipes it would have
to be at a killer price because if you ever needed help you would be on your own with no support from the company.

I have the Cobra True duals with billet tips and really like them. Not too loud but growl when on the throttle hard. That being said, I had Roadhouse on my other bike and really liked them and got lots of compliments on them. If they were still in business, I would consider them, but as was said, all support is gone, so it would have to be a killer deal...

I installed the Cobra slash downs and they sound great. Not as load as the V&H so you can still hear yourself think but loud enough to get noticed by the girl texting in the lane next to you. I haven't ever been next to a roadhouse system to compare.
