Light bar

What kinds of lamps and what will you use them for? Most applications would want a bit lower than low beam to fill in the dark spot.

I would set them at the level low bean is to you can flip hi to low for oncoming cars.

I live in Moose country so I know the need for more light at night. I run 2 55 watts each lamps then too, but can leave them be and flip hi's to lo's.

I just added 2 more lamps for 5 up front these new are amber at 35 watts each with a ribbed lens.

Either pair can be run any times i want with or with out the engine. In fog like tonight, i would not run the pair of 55 watt lamps and riun low beam and the 2 ambers just to see a little bit.
