Last Chance for Ultimate Baffles!

We have a ton of new members here who probably don't have a clue what these Ultimate Baffles are. So very quickly....they are custom machined baffles that replace the stock baffles in the V&H Dual Bagger Exhaust Pipes. If you have totally stock OEM pipes....these ARE NOT for you!

Installation is easy....remove two screws from the bottom of each pipe, slide the old baffles out...slide the new ones in and replace the screws. So easy a Caveman could do it.... ;)....ten minutes tops!

They are louder that the stock V&H baffles, but they also richen and deepen the sound to very closely resembles that of an HD. I have had tons of compliments on the sound, many from other Vulcan riders who have never heard such a great sound from another Vulcan... ;)! I have even had HD riders next to me at a light talking about how good my bike sounded... !

Anyways....that's it in a nutshell. Most of the earlybirds to the UB's had to make their own or have them made....not an easy task. Jeff has gone above and beyond in his effort to get some made for the masses, so now seems to be your last chance if you don't want to go through the hassle/expense of finding a machinist to make them for you. Jeff's price for a pair is very, very reasonable...trust me on that one!

Thanks Jeff for all your hard work on this and I hope you find some more happy takers for what is a fantastic and simple mod.

I recommend snapping up a pair while they are available. They are a nice product at a good price. I like them when I set up for solo; you'll get looks for sure.

Thanks for the nice words, and again a nod to those who came up with the design, I just found a place to get them made at a reasonable price. Already got one response so now down to three sets left.

Listened to the clips, nice sound, kinda loud and with no before and after I'll take your words that it is deeper sounding.
What I'd really like to know is what is it about these baffles that deepens the sound.
I just run with the OEM's de-baffled, it's better but I would like a deeper rumble, with out tossing perfectly good pipes away.
It's my understanding that the longer the wave length of sound the deeper it gets, like a folded horn speaker cabinet design, but I don't see those UB's adding any length.

jasperboy

Thanks for one of the few sets left. Can't wait to get them and try them.
I guess I'm going to have to wake her up from her winter slumber to put them in and see how it sounds.

Thanks again

You lucky guys getting these last few sets, be sure to let us know what you think, but I already know you will LOVE them ;)!

Here is a quote from a PM I received from Voyager (hope he don't mind me sharin')....

"After Deb and I rode with you to and from Custer I fell in love with the sound of your pipes. Even though I'm running Cobra's now, I want to install a set of V&H's with the Ultimate Baffles. So, I emailed Jeff to send me a set and in the near future ( this year or next ) I'll purchase a set of V&H's and I'll have Jeff's baffles ready to go."

Need I say more.... ;) ::)....

Leadbelly, I don't know wht they work, I just know that they do. I've had stock pipes and felt they were to quiet. I considered debaffled stock, but most said it wasn't really the sound I'd be looking for. I bought the V&H's and really liked them, but even they didn't rumble the way I wanted. Pulled the baffles out of them, but that just sounded LOUD. Took the wrap off and got real close to the sound I wanted, then got a set uf Ultimates made and knew I had found what I was looking for.

Sorry to say I'm all done. I believe someone else here was going to try and get some made. Keep an eye out, I'm sure they will be posting soon.

Last Chance for Ultimate Baffles!

I got one of the last sets of the Ultimate Baffles last month. Well it warmed up to 50 degrees Friday and I couldn't wait any longer. I got her out of cold storage took the battery tender off and started right up. I listen to her run for a minute so I could compare the sound. Then I put in the new baffles. It was about a 4 minute operation a little anti-seize on the bolt threads, tighten them up and the moment of truth had arrived. I took a deep breath and hit the starter. I don't know who liked them the most me or the dog next door because we both went crazy. I never would have thought they would change the sound that much. I don't mean louder (they are louder) but I'm talking about the tone. They sound super sweet. I rode with some friends Sunday afternoon (2 ultra classics, 1 883, 1 crossbones, 1 victory, 2 v-stars and 1 road king). They all loved them. This was the 1st time the HD boys were a little jealous. JASPERBOY you the man thanks for the baffles.
