Nomad and NASCAR

All this time I have had this car and have never taken a picture with it. Figured I would share. The car is a 2001 Talladega car that Dale would have driven had he not been killed. All race ready with the original 830 hp SB2 engine. This car rocks. I picked it up in January for a buddy of mine. We purchased a 99 Darlington car year before last and when this one became available, we sold the 99 and got this one. It is a lot of fun and is a real eye catcher.

You would not believe how many people either ask, 1. Can I take it for a spin, 2. Can I sit in it, or 3. How much does it cost. It is funny. I don't think anyone actually would ever expect to get a yes answer to 1 or 2 but you would be surprised at how many people really want to know how much this thing actually costs. Sure is fun though.

I don't get it. Are you a dealer and just bought this as an investment or what?

Just for fun and to show. Makes the ultimate Earnhardt collectible. We take it to local events, do some charity stuff, do an annual Downed Bikers MS run here in Oklahoma. We just have fun with it. NASCAR fans of all ages love the car so we show it off. Every once in a while we make a little money at non fund raising events. Tow and show.

Its a little sad to see the car that Dale would have drove. It was a big loss to Nascar to loose him.But what a find . It is the ultimate collector piece . Thanks for sharing oh and I would say gas milage isn't good eh!

Very nice. The car also. ;)

It would be an odd feeling owning the car that Dale would have driven if he would still be alive. I am surpised they let it go. Show and Tell at the next Rally????

Just don't let Dan get in it and drive!!!!! ::)
