cobra tire ?
I had about 9,000 on mine until I replaced it last Friday due to a nail. It maybe could have made it to 11,000.

cobra tire ?
I have 5,500 miles on mine. 5,000 of that mileage was pulling my trailer riding 2 up. The tire is looking really good. I hope to get 12,000 out of it.

I had Cobras installed two weeks ago. If the lifespan of them aren't great, I'll be going CT next time.

cobra tire ?
I'm just glad that you all have these types of discussions so that way I can sit on the sidelines and listen. I can then draw my own conclusion based on everyone elses trials and errors. Not to say that I'm error free. But this is what I'm going to do. When my OEM rear tire goes by the way of the dodo bird I'm going to the darkside. Economics 101 and mathmatics are the reasons. First no MC tire can last as long as a car tire. Second why pay twice as much for a MC tire as a CT. If that doesn't set well than I like the darkside....hehehe!!!!!

5,900 on mine, and they still look relatively new. Not much mileage gets put on in the summer, but this fall I hope to double that on some long distance trips.

I've only got 1500 miles on my Avon Cobras, so I can't comment on durability, but I'll sure brag on my improved handling!
The way they handle curves compared to the stock tires is just incredible!!

I know what you mean there dandolfn about the handling. The ME880's handle good too. I'd just like to get more mileage out of them. And dkdixie, I keep reading on the CT's and saw how many had them while in GA. But...... I'm still thinking on that one.

cobra tire ?
I put a cobra on this spring and wish I had gone CT but I don't have a jack so I would have been at the mercy of a shop charging me astronomical fees for that kind of custom mounting. I will have a jack and do it myself when the cobra wears out. I can't remember how many miles I have on it though. Probably around 2000.
