National Rally
I know Trip has a travel planing on the National rally site but I think we should start our own that we know what route every body will take and maybe we can all get together and then meet up with other groups on the way. Take a look at where every one are coming from and see if you can come up with a good meeting place.

I'll be riding Lucille and probably have Dear daughter along some of the time, but as the rally doubles as family vacation Frances will be bringing a chase vehicle and likely pulling the trailer so that we can have some family time after the rally. I am hoping to add Yellowstone <s>and Glacier </s>NP<s>s</s> to our loop before turning back South.

This is my planned route. I will stay in a KOA cabin in Nebraska on the way up, and will get a KOA cabin in Kansas on the way home.

Not sure if we can go yet. I have a deployment scheduled with my base at that time but maybe I can get out of it. If we go, it will be on the Nomad.

Al how are you going up? the route I had mapped out I could connect with Wanderer in several different places with out going to far out of my way. The only problem is I don't know if my wife is going to try to ride that far or if I am going to trailer the bike
If we ride I am going to have to leave on Fri and take 4 days to get there which would only be about 300 miles per day give or take a few.

We are planning on leaving on the 12th of June and taking our time. I will be loading up the bike in my pickup and taking that. Wife doesn't like the long distance rides anymore. What's ever easiest on her. I personally would like to ride up.
Thanks Wanderer for the info on the roads. Got any idea on the mileage? |

Julie and I have reservations for the 15th thru the 18th, so I guess we will leave home Sunday morning and head back Friday morning. Julie may go up in the Volkswagon so my daughter can tag along.

Trip, yes I have but I do not believe it would be wise of me to try to slip in Custer since Marla is already a bit miffed at me cause I am going on the Big Bend trip with out her. I would need to find a new place to live.LOL
