Rear Rack

It is time for me to demonstrate just what a novice I am when it come to working on anything to include my Nomad.

I want to remove the back rack. I am going to install a tour pack.

I am looking at the "screws"/bolts that hold the rack on. Looking at the out side "screw" head, what am I looking at? What is it called and what size tool do I need to remove it.

I would apologize for being such a dumb ass but Mac Mac get pissed off with I do

Bill. It's a metric allen head bolt. Use an Allen wrench (aka hex key/hex socket) At least that's what I assume it is.

I'm at work and my tools are at home in the garage where they belong. I can look at the bolt and walk over and pick the right socket off the rack, but I couldn't tell you what size it is off the top of my head.

Thank you Scott - I am going to the local tool store and get a set of metric Allen wrenches.

A set if 3/8" drive metric allen sockets is really good to have.
