1st Ride with Mods
Went for a short, 30 miles, ride today. It is my 1st time out after all my winter work.
The Cobra pipes sound really good. Louder than I thought they would be but not annoyingly so. A nice deep rumble. The tickety-tick noise is gone which is probably due to the cam tensioner extenders from chuckster. Also from chuckster are the large lowers and handlebar risers. Both of which are wonderful. I have the chuckster dual plate air mod and used his coasters when I took the reed valves off. It seems to me that the response on hitting the throttle is improved and I am pretty sure that the bike was not as hot as in the past when I got home. All in all I think I may have actually put it all back together right. Now if the weather would cooperate I could get some more miles in.

It is always better to end up with something left over, than to end up missing something to finish the job!!!

Sorry we missed it Kris. We had some errands to run and got a little late start on the road Saturday. The way to Forks is beautiful scenery, especially around Lake Crescent. Hopefully Michelle and I can make the next one. We did manage a trip out to Maltby then up Hwy 9 for a while before moving west to Kayak Pt before moving south and heading home. See you soon.
