looking for riding buddy
anyone live in the st.louis, mo. area that wants to ride on the weekends early in the morning. i usually do a 100 to 200 mile breakfast ride, sat. and sun. morning, very early like 6am. i am also looking for some one to go on riding and camping trips that just wants to do the man thing like get away from your wife and camp out, drink beer, barbeque, and chew the fat (talk motorcycles) no i'm not gay. i built a trailer for my bike and bought all kinds of camping equipment. my wife said don't let the door hit you in the ass. she is anti camping. i'm just a little leery about camping alone with all the nuts out there. give me a hollar if your not one of those nuts, and interested. bill

Bill,
While I live 650 miles from you, I would be willing to ride with you when I'm ever up that way. Be sure and check the member listing to see who else lives in or near the St. Louis area. http://www.kawanow.org/pdf/kawanowmembers_sorted.pdf Also, become active in the NorthCentral & SouthCentral KawaNOW Regional groups (especially since you live right on the border between the two groups). There are a few guys that are members of KawaNOW that might be able to ride with you. Trip

That is good advice Trip but let's not forget that he is in the South Central region and might have better luck finding someone to ride with if he checks both regions.

Todd = Satan.........
I thought after riding 500 miles a day to Custer the "BD doesn't ride" North Carolinian diatribe, read: I'm jealous of BD's snappy attire, would diminish???!!

BD... there are always those who want to "tear-down" those they are most jealous of.
Okay... maybe I pushed that a bit far... I mean... really BD, you DID iron your shirts in Custer!! At least you admitted to doing so. BUT... I have to admit, Kendra and I were impressed that you had no qualms admitting it. (How's that for a defense from a "Harley turncoat" that was told to shut-up and go out and ride your bike kind of guy? Kind-of "sqiushy", I admit!)

Liz and I live up a Macon but we do get down in that area every now and again. Maybe next spring we could get you and anyone else from the St. Louis area along with the guys from up around KC and meet somewhere for a dinner or weekend ride. Maybe meet and stay down at Lake Ozrak or that area. And don't forget our South Central Region Rally next June in Eureka Springs, AR. Maybe you could meet up with Liz and I and we all ride down together. Your wife could follow in the car if she don't ride and she would still have fun all of us in ES.

OK...so I went and looked up the definition of diatribe.......
Main Entry: di·a·tribe Pronunciation: \ˈdî-ə-ˌtrîb\ Function: noun Etymology: Latin diatriba, from Greek diatribç pastime Date: 1581 1 archaic : combination of two words...tribe and diarrhea 2 : tribal diarrhea 3 : to cause massive states of diarrhea within a tribe or country
