Just signed up today. Maybe premature as I plan to pick up my first Nomad (2007) on Friday. It is black and titanium and looks gorgeous. I have been lurking around the forum for about a week getting as much info as I could on the Nomad and liked what I read and pulled the trigger on this '07. So I joined in.
I have been riding over forty years and have owned a lot of different bikes. The closest to a Nomad would have been a '95 Road King that is about the same weight and set up. After owning a couple of HDs I researched a lot on the Nomad and could not pass up the opportunity to own one. A one year old Kawi KLR650 is in the garage and is a great bike but I may have to sell it as I think I am going to be on this Nomad every chance I get.

Welcome to the Groups Jims, from north Florida. I personally think that the 07 Black and Titanium Nomad was the best looking color combo they ever made so congats on a great choice!
