once opened how long is it good for??

I've had an opened can sitting on the shelf in my garage for weeks. I use it off and on for the lawnmower and weed-whacker. Have had no problems.

It's just a petroleum distillate.. I don't think it has any dissolved compounds that would cause it to go bad over time.

But what do I know? :)

so....Seafoam...i have a can...i plan on riding tomorrow....i have about 2.5 gallons of gas in the bike...I would like to run some of the magic elixr ...so..

1. How much should i add to the tank and,
2. Will it be ok to run for approx 2 miles to fill-up??

Hey, Derry. Mix 1 ounce per gallon. The stuff is great. I used it to clean the butterfly (toothbrush) in the intake and it stopped the sticky throttle.

The sea foam is great stuff. Helped me when I had the flu a few months ago.

Actually, I use it too. In the tank and to clean the throttle body.

I must have too many toys. I use it up before it gets too old. Wait a minute. No such thing as too many toys. What was I thinking.

It doesn't last long around here either, I put it in everything I have from my lawnmower to my outboard.

If it's a full can.. maybe about 1/4 to 1/3 of a can. I've run a full can through 4 gal before and never had an issue.

Can says 1 oz/1 gal gas. Not sure higher concentrations do any better.?

How's that working for you Bob? I might give it a shot. Do you use it as a topical or do you drink an once or two.....maybe with your meals.
