Screaming Banshee Horn
These guys developed a great safety device for your motorcycle. I got one and it just plain works.
It consists of a 139 dB horn, similar to a Nautilis but NOT. and a controller. This thing works in conjunction with your stock horn, whether thats your coyote/roadrunner stock one or an aftermarket train horn. It also ties into the high beams on your light bucket. When you just tap the horn you get the meep, meep. If you hold it down, like we all do in a crisis, it sets off the pulsating Banshee horn and flips the high beams on/off giving you every chance possible to get noticed. Im a FF and this pulsating light, variable sound is what we use on our emergency apparatus to get noticed. It just plain works. When I instaled it the install was moderately hard. I recommended that they just place the controller and the horn on the same hanger and simplify the wiring harness. They listened and have reengineered the thing right. Same basic device with a simple yet elegant design. If you are thinking about adding a louder horn or want to knock up your safety equipment a notch, take a look at their site. They are still developing and are offering the thing for $79. I paid $110 for mine so its a bargain. The owner of the company, Peter, was great to work with and I recommend this product. It has paid off twice for me so far. http://www.indiegogo.com/PlugAndPlay...0961&a=1659782 Their corporate site is at http://screaming-banshee.com/ Thanks for looking

I got Stebel's for both bikes before the Banshee came out. The next horn I buy will be the Banshee (unless they come out with something even more awesome before that day arrives).

That sounds like a good idea having the high beam and the horn work together, I may just look into one of those units.

For you guys with Stebels (or Nautilus or whatever loud horn you choose) already, it works WITH them. You would still have the same horn for regular day to day usage.
You are ADDING the emergency horn/light circuit which would go off in addition to the extra loud regular horn. Its the pulsating sound/light combination thats the magic. In reality if you guys ever had to hit the panic button, You would cause tractor trailer drivers to flinch...

I have a Bad Boy installed on my Vaquero, but I'm not convinced that hooking the high beam in adds much for us. I understand that First Responders are wired like that, but they turn theirs' on and leave them on. We, on the other hand, typically hit the horn at the same time we are making evasive maneuvers and trying to not stain our drawers! That said, it certainly isn't going to reduce visibility, so at worst it will be a draw. Guess I would have to see one in action, gather some opinions, see some third-party testing. Wow, that sounds like a lot of work!

I noticed, on their site, they sell the horns individually too, and at least one of the descriptions actually labels it as the Wolo... Also interesting, they sell one of 'em already separated with a 3 foot hose between the compressor and horn for a "not horrible" price (about 10 bucks more than local retail).

Oh, I wouldn't want to do without my Bad Boy! I've had to use it a few times to get a cagers attention!

Does this have the relay built into it or do you still need to hook up a horn relay?

Not sure which post you are referring to, but the Bad Boy I mounted came with a relay. I have a Vaquero. I was able to use nothing more than an L bracket and mount both the horn and the relay in place of the stock horn, same mounting post. It is tucked in real nice, not in the way of anything, and not noticeable unless you are looking for it. And that is about the best location for a horn! I ran a fused dedicated hot wire from the battery directly to it, so no power issues. I've been very pleased!

Answered my own question by reading through Banshee's web page - they have the relay built into and attached to the horn rather than the separate horn/relay of the Wolo - I was sold and ordered one - I'll let you know what I think . . .
