E-Bay adventure

As you know I started making my Jack Adapters this winter in an effort to get my production costs down and I have been able to reduce the price by $20. I did this because TC found copies of my adapters on E-Bay by some rat bastard in Tennessee.

A couple of weeks ago I listed 4 of them on ebay for 5 bux more than I sell them here and only one of them sold. Had lots of views and 10 followers but only one sale. So, I have decided to list in an auction. This is my first run into that area. I listed it with a low reserve and a 20 dollar starting bid. So far, no takers. Guess I just need to be patient.

If any of you are interested, I have kits boxed up and ready to ship. They now include pins and safety ribbon.

You should add a link to your auctions.
I can/should use one of your adapters. I guess I'll have to find them on eBay.

Did a nomal search on ebay for motorcycle jack adapter it did not show up you may have the change the header on ad to read
MOTORCYCLE JACK ADAPTER KAWASAKI NOMAND MEANSTREAK that way the search engine will pick it up and it will still pick up the Kawasaki part of it also

Hey Tom, This is the wording on the posting'
"Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad Meanstreak Classic Jack Adapter
The Original Idaho Jack Adapter"

I thought that I had it covered. As I said this is an adventure. I'm an E-Bay newbie, be gentle.

I found it by the link someone else left but the average person looking for a jackadapter that is the way they will search Motorcycle Jackadapter I did and it did not come up did a search for Kawasaki Jackadapter and it worked so I guess if they search hard enough they will find it. Just trying to help out a fellow Nomad rider want you to sell a bunch and make them easy to find.

Still not sure just what I should do to improve the search. I will read up on the EBay instructions with your suggestions in mind. Thanks Tom. Bud

That's the problem with jumping into new technology. I paid more and got less. Pins and a ribbon now! WOW! I feel like I have a 1st generation I Phone.

Just funnin' Bud. I was working on the fuse block last night with the bike on the floor and missed having it up on the jack even for that 10 minutes. Sitting on the floor sucks.

Bud, couple suggestions.
Put the word motorcycle in the title.
Use color in your description and make your letters larger.
Look at the ratbastards ad to see what I mean about color.

Charlie, I posted an offer (somewhere) to send pins and ribbons to any of my "First Generation" customers who may want one. Send me your address again and I will get those in the mail.

TC, same deal goes for you also.

I tried to put more stuff in the description but that line is limited and it's maxed out now. Maybe I can put 'motorcycle' in there and leave Kawasaki and Vulcan and put the models in the body of the description, in color of course.

Try this
KAWASAKI MOTORCYCLE JACK ADAPTER 'ORIGINAL IDAHO JACK ADAPTER' for your header and then in the body of the ad list what it fits.

tried to make "Original Idaho Jack Adapter" red but it did not work ???

If you are going to use this title I suggest you combine jack and adapter in the second part.
Like this; KAWASAKI MOTORCYCLE JACK ADAPTER 'ORIGINAL IDAHO JACKADAPTER

That way you have jack adapter covered no matter if a searcher uses it as one word or two.
