Got tired of deer hunting
Been hunting all week looking for that monster wall hanger and decided it was not going to happen this year so I slept in and this afternoon Liz and I got the bikes out and went for a ride.
Nothing grand just a 90 mile ride staying on main highways so not tempting or giving frustrated deer hunters something to shoot at. It was great to be on the bike again. Temperature in the low 50's and light wind. Not much traffic on any of the roads. And riding with my best riding buddy was a real treat. With no one else along we ride a lot closer and stay in sink with each other on curves and such. It was nice to find we still think a like when riding evening knowing when to take a break stop without signals from each other. I really wasn't ready to return home when we did but it was getting cooler and we had household chores to get done. And we had to start planning for Thanksgiving with the families. My brother and sister along with their families are coming to my place Wednesday night and Liz and I are taking her dad and step mom to Sedalia to her Uncle's place Thursday for lunch. So here is wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving from your most northern, south central group nomad ridin' brother. Jim ( Watchman ) Grimshaw Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Got tired of deer hunting
All about family gathering and counting our blessings. Our daughter and son in law are coming Tuesday morning. Can't wait. Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Guess Jim won't be having venison on the table this year.

Mexico doesn't recognize Thanks Giving, so I will have to work Thursday and Friday. I do miss this holiday with family.
Happy Thanks Giving all... You still have a few days left watchman, you could still get that wall hanger. |
