4" groups at 45 feet with a 9mm is pretty good shooting! Good enough to take out a bad guy anyway.
More practice is fun anyway!

Thanks for making me fell alittle better :) I would like the group tighter and smaller.. 3" would be great, But like you said 4" would make a bad day for who ever it hit :) Center mass is pretty large, That's what we went for when I was in the service! I did pretty good with my A1!

My first 9mm was a Ruger P85, couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it. Felt like a brick in my hand. I could hit a paper plate at 15 yards if I was really careful, 2 shots back to back...who knows where the second one would wind up.
I tried my brother in law's Glock one day and discovered I could just point-n-shoot and hit the target. Guess what I use now? Helps to have something that fits your hand and style.

Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

I could go for tighter and smaller too, but at my age, will take what I can get.

what 9 m/m pistol were you shooting ? some of the short barreled double action only pistols on the market today won't shoot any better then that.most shootings take place
at an average range of 7 yards.

Ken my Old Browning Challenger 2 fit like a glove and is almost point and shoot, Great fit and shooter
Ponch accuracy is the name of the game! Paul yea at 62 I am happy I can see the target! Bob I am shooting my new Ruger SR9E, So trying to get a feel for it. At 5 yeards I was in the 2 1/2" group with it. I would like a 3" group at 20/25 yards ,That's what I am shooting for :O Thank everyone I should be Happy at 62 to see the target and hit it even if a 10 ft target lol. I figure that it will take me a couple hundred rounds to fine tune thee fit and quirks of it,, Either way I shoot good or bad it is still a ton of fun, Something about the Big Bang does it :)

Thats not bad in my books Ritch, at 15 yards it will stop anything in front of you. Try a different brand of ammo, many times it will either close up the group or widen it. Its good to see what your gun like best.

I read the head line, and I was going to ask for your address, but seeing
that you have a gun, I'll pass.
