Anyone had their helmet stolen? Do U use the lock?

While at a PGR Mission at our local airport today, I locked my helmet up, but usually don't. Just had a feeling. Do you use your helmet lock. Especially at non-MC events? By the way, I haven't lost a helmet. Just wondering??????

Never use the locks and never lost a helmet, BUT when I'm in a bad area it goes in the saddlebag.

I always use the lock or take it with me. I doubt it would get stolen most places I leave the bike, but boy would it be a problem if it did, since they are required in Michigan. So I just take it or lock it, and then I don't have to worry.

and in a real bad area you wear it walking around

I haven't had one stolen but sometimes I feel like I need to lock it and that's when I do.

When I'm out, I put mine in the saddlebag since I wear a half helmet.

I can't lock my Nolan up, it has no D-rings. Nolan uses a toothed latch, so there's no way to lock it. Unfortunately, that didn't occur to me until I'd had it a few weeks. Occasionally I lock up my helmets with D-rings, depends on the venue.

I too wear a Nolan. For that I just set it on the passenger seat and secure it to the hand rails with this:

I have always used the locks on the bike. This year however I have a fullface helmet and don't know if it is going to work with the locks where they are. May have to move them or buy different ones.
