Click the link and then just scroll through the pictures.

It's a good ride.

Thanks, truth be known, it was a putrid puddle in an alley behind some restaurants, lined with dumpsters, and cigarette butts floating on the puddle.

Cropping it made it work in a way I liked.

Trip, being new to the board, I don't know if you used to live out this way, or if you just get on your bike and go for long rides. Which is it?

I found your personal website and all your trip reports and got the scoop that way.

I'm glad that when you went to Utah, that you went on hwy 12. I've ridden almost every road in Utah, and it looks like you got some of the really good ones.

The VROC Red Rocks Rally was held in 2005 at the parry lodge where you stayed in Kanab.

I really enjoyed your picture presentations, I wish I know how to do that with my trips. Nice pictures.

Thanks Dan. Like you, I love photography...all types, still, video, etc. In my earlier years, I was Chief Videographer and Photographer for several TV stations. Grew to love photography and every aspect of it. Then, when computers came into vogue and graphic software was invented, I was absolutely taken away with digital. Now, I've got various video editors that can take video and still digital pictures and produce a presentation with wild sound and music......makes me wonder what's next.

At any rate, I love taking pics and video of where I've been on my bike. After the trip's over......all you got are the pics and vids.

I'm a native Texan.....never lived anywhere else, but I love to travel and see other states. IMHO there's nothing better to travel on than a bike.

Trip
Trip, I'm probably not a good photographer, but I think that I know how to frame a shot.

I saw in some of your photos that you can shoot with very strong back lighting. One was a swing with the top bar (if I remember right) blocking the sun, but otherwise it was that strong of back lighting. I can't do that type of stuff.

Framing the shot and hitting the shutter in automatic mode is all I can do.

I enjoyed your shots.
