Nomad Tank Bib

Last week, I asked the question "will a Chilhowee Vulcan 1600 Classic tank bib fit a Nomad?". Yes, it will. Mine arrived today and I just finished installing it. Here's proof:

We talked about that tank bib catusjack on whether it would fit and I thought it might. Gooood looking bib, how long was the wait on it before you got it? I must get on for Xmas myself now.

Looks good, Scott! I like the grip whips, too. Do they slap against you while riding? "Not that there's anything wrong with that..."!

They are actually lever covers. Yeah, a little. Even with short sleeves, they don't slap so hard they sting or anything. I don't find it very annoying.

I've got the Iso end butt tassels off the handlebar grips and yes they do sting a bit with short sleeves but it keeps me awake, not too bad. had mine on for over a year and held up fine.

Iso grips have the end cap that screws in the end of the grip, while they make a end cap with tassels.

That's a fine looking bib from Chilhowee! I got my lever covers and mud flaps from Chilhowee. Customer service is really good.

I put some "pony" beads on my lever cover fringe (just for the look) but they have enough weight that they stopped a lot of the "slap" on the fore arms also. They be cool.

Anyone know of a tank cover for the Nad? I'm interested in the one that covers the back 1/3 of the tank (where my pants are rubbing on the side of the tank!), not the straight down the middle bib kind.

Thanks,
Daryl ???

If you look through my original thread from last week, where I was looking for a bib to fit the Nomad, someone sent a picture of what you're looking for.

Daryl: if you'll go to the main page, kawanow.org and look around you will see a rear tank bib that sounds just like what your looking for, hope I helped. Ride Easy!
