New Member from GA.
Hello all,
I have been lurking on the site for the past few weeks as I decided to purchase a 2011 Vaquero. Coming off of sport bikes the past 10 years I have to say that the Vaquero did bring a pleasant surprise to the seat of my pants as I rode 4 hours from MS to GA hating to stop, even for gas. The only thing I have notice that for a 1700cc motor, I expected a little more grunt but I have read from many of you that with a few mods it too will bring a big smile to my face. This is a very informative forum and I look forward to learning more about the Vaquero. Thanks for all of the info you all have provided. Time for me to play catch-up! Bikes I have owned a 2013 ZX-14R (gone but not forgotten, stolen in October), 2008 ZX-14 (wrecked in 2010), 2005 FZ1 (sold to my best friend) and a 2004 ZX6R (sold to a former best friend). Wow you have been super faithful to Kawasaki! I'm not surprised you notice a lack of power considering the bikes you used to own. This cruising thing is a whole other animal.
