That was a good one, I hope people parked in the garage, their cars will be pretty dinged up after a storm like that if they were left outside.

Wow, that was some hail storm. Bet a lot of people will have roof damage.

I think we rode through that storm in Custer on our way to Devil's Tower at the rally in '09!!!

It didn't hail like that in my part of the Valley. We had pea size hail for maybe 30 seconds at work, where I was when the storm came through. Some of the largest car dealerships in the state were hit by the large hailstones. Thousands of brand new cars and trucks look like golf balls now. One Cadillac dealer had nearly 700 vehicles damaged.

I just saw a story on the local news maybe 10 minutes ago that a lot of people whose cars were totaled by their insurance companies due to hail damage bought them back for the salvage value. AZ law requires a state inspection of a salvage vehicle before it can be put back on the road. The story was about the relatively small number of inspections stations and the backlog of cars awaiting inspections.

There may be a bunch of dinged up Caddilacs going at bargain prices. And Im sure it will keep the body shops busy for a while doing repairs.
