Just ordered a CWI Driver's Backrest

After a lot of research, I order the CWI drivers backrest from cruisercustomizing.com

Merry Christmas to ME

The only reason I didn't go with that one is the way it attaches. It has bars that run down the side of the seat, right? I thought it would get in the way of my passenger. Let us know how you like it when you get it installed.

JON: im fixing to order the same backrest after much debating. The only thing about cruisercustomizing is they can be SLOW on delivery and if out of stock, REAL SLOW! What did they tell you?? Thx.

I would wait until grasshopper ( a new member here) finishes one and we see what it's like. I've had 3 and was satisfied with all of them for the C50. Just a word of advise.

Doc

They said it was in stock and would be here in 4-7 days. I've ordered most of my accessories from cruisercustomizing and am happy with the price and service.

Good and bad.

Excellent product. Very sturdy and well made.

My wife hated it. She does not like how it feels and the metal base does look uncomfortable for her. My wife and I both think that of all the things I have put on my Nomad, this is the first that clearly sticks out as "aftermarket".

I was very disappointed until my wife said "why don't you just get your $265 back and order a Mustang seat w/backrest". I was in shock but somehow managed to repack the CWI product within the hour and I'm shipping it back today. I may wait to see what you all think of Lonnie's backrest before spending the $600 for a Mustang.

Living the life baby.

Thats the reason I didn't go for that rest. I went with the BacUp.
I like it. Cindy says it doesn't interfere with her. Kawgirl bought one and doesn't like hers. to each their own as they say

That wasn't me Topcat. I think it may have been Dip, but not sure. I'm looking to get a backrest before the spring season though.
