Hey just had a thought today,Well maybe a brain fart..

How bout everybody post their favorite food spot, diner, etc that way when I ride through your town I'll know the best place to stop and eat and talk to good friends..
Maybe a good place to park the old head for the night too..

I'll start:
Favorite restaurant is Ranchito Morin (Mexican food) .
Keywest to park your head.

Hmm, this could be interesting. Let's see.

Steak - Kenny's in Greeley, CO. Darn good piece of meat. He used to own feedlots for around 200,000 head at a time. He better know beef.

Pork Chops - Butch's in Hershey, Nebraska. Melt in your mouth.

Chicken Fried Steak - Merricks in North Platte. Fill the plate and still have hashbrowns.

Pie - Too many places to think of just one.

Hamburgers - I will have to give that one to a diner in Akron, CO: The Oasis. Big and good with several different toppings to add.

You can tell, I get around.

Alright, I'll contribute - Virgina City Nevada - Bucket of Blood Bar.

Reason to Visit : Old Fashioned "Watering Hole." The Bucket of Blood Saloon, was rebuilt after the fire of 1875. In spite of its sinister name, the Saloon gives off the charm of the old time hey-days with its many hanging lamps and mirrors. Memories of the past await the visitor wandering in to the bar for a cold drink in this cool oasis.

Actually, I don't remember them having any food. Am I on the wrong thread?

OK if price doesn't matter......Stein Erickson Lodge in Park City, UT (I think it was in the neighborhood of 300 bucks a night.) http://www.steinlodge.com/

Carvers in Sandy, UT is a little pricey but a NICE steak house.

And if you're in for fine dining, the Bridgeport Inn is it! Bring your winnings from Nevada and eat here for a good meal....

Finally Kingbee....a thread about my favorite subject!!!

Steaks - this on is hard cause I usually cook my own...but Houston's or Taste of Texas has some great steaks here in Houston.

Chicken Fried Steak - El Charro's in Tyler, TX. - Right off the Loop!! (By the way...they've got GREAT mexican food too)

Mexican Food - Usually I like a lot of the little places, but Lupe Tortilla's in Sugar Land, TX. has amazing fajitas!!! If you're out around Chantilly, VA.... give Picante Restaurant a chance off of Rt. 50!

Chineese - not that you'll be traveling there anytime soon.... but Shang ra La in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia!! Best chineese I've ever had!!

Burgers - Thirsty Parrot in Monaville, TX!! Best burgers ever...specially w/ jalepino bread!

Seafood - Gaido's or Casey's in Galveston, TX.

Breakfast... of course I'm a big fan of Bob's Taco's in Rosenberg, TX.

If you happen to like Irish food...stews and pot pies... Old Brogue Irish Pub in Great Falls, VA. is your place!!! Best chicken pot pie you will EVER eat!!!

If you like pies.... there's a little country store off of Route 7 in Round Hill, VA. right across from Stoneleigh Golf Course that makes about 40 different types of pies!!! At least I hope it's still there!!!!

For a gooood old fashioned Philly Cheese Steak... if you're in Philly...that's not a problem...but if you're in Houston...try Jakes Philly Cheese Steaks and Subs off of Chimney Rock. As close to Philly as you'll come!

Pork Chops... NOTHING...and I mean NOTHING beats Perry's in Sugar Land, TX!!!!! Make sure you're ready to eat for a while though...cause it's not JUST pork chops...it's amost half a pig!!!

Again with a bakery.... check out this website and trust me when I say they're the BEST!!! http://www.naegelins.com/

ok...so... it's a wonder why I don't look like LW, Mike, SWB, & Todd all put together!! LOL!!

Happy Eating!
