FS: LOWERED $ 2000 Nomad - Low, low miles.
LOWERED PRICE:
Selling to get a hack. Do you have a trade, plus/minus cash? For sale is my 2000 Kawasaki Nomad 1500. This one is the fuel injected model which is far more reliable than the carbureted version. The bike has 8300 original miles, far less than the 35,000 miles that Kelley Blue Book bases their values on from a motorcycle of this age. This motorcycle is mechanically perfect. There is nothing wrong with it. It is smooth, powerful, starts right up and has been 100% reliable. The rear tire was replaced 1500 miles ago. The oil and filter were changed at the same time. The final drive oil was changed to Redline Shockproof at the same time. It needs nothing but a new rider. Cosmetically it looks beautiful. Please look at the photos. The chrome is not pitted nor is the aluminum. It does not look like a 9 year old motorcycle. It shines and sparkles. There are numerous extras including, but not limited to, Kuryakyn Flame Grips with stiletto end caps, chrome saddlebag racks, chrome saddlebag guard rails, etc. The passenger seat and backrest are easily removable converting it into a custom looking bagger, check out the photos. The reasons I am selling it are because I want a hack and I am not comfortable riding in the foot forward cruiser position. I bought it to ride alongside my wife on her Yamahog. My other bikes are/were standards, BMW LT's and GS’s. All in all a beautiful example of a fantastic motorcycle. This bike gets you noticed and is always complimented. Thank you for looking ……………….. $5,900.00 ------ in So Cal Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I did want to point out that I've not heard of reliability problems with the carburetor Nomads. I had no problems with my 99, and haven't heard of anyone else having reliability issues. |

Thanks for the compliment. I love the looks too.
Unfortunately it's too small for me and gets uncomfortable after a 100 miles. Login or Register to Remove Ads |
