Crazy eBay bidding

People should really check out new prices before they bid on a used item.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/160719962817...84.m1423.l2649

Brand new (including pad) is that much. Now somebody gets a used part for a new part price. My bidding stopped at 30 bucks.

Some of those rocket scientists get all caught up in being the top bidder all the time long before time runs out. Go figure! Good for the seller though.

Maybe they think it is an antique.

Sometimes when you start bidding it is hard to stop. Everyone wants to be a winner.

It's not used. It's pre tested.

You've got to be really careful on eBay. Lots of ways to push bids up.

For example, the seller could have multiple account and be bidding on his own item. Worst case scenario, he wins and has to re-list it. Best case scenario, some retard put a high $ for his max bid and the seller make a lot more money than he should.

I personally never bid on an item until the last 20 sec and I put my maximum comfortable amount. Better yet, I mostly buy using only the buy it now feature.

I prefer the BIN option but sometimes you can get a good deal with an auction. I got my fairing for a pretty good deal that way. I've got a few things cheap when the seller put something in the wrong category. Nobody searched for it where it was.

I find the auctions with no reserve the best, the buy it nows are usually priced way to high in most cases. At least for bike stuff, electronic accessory's from China sre priced pretty good on the other hand.
