Man oh man what a difference in sound with these removed!Took em out to check the packing so i figured id ride around for awhile like this in doing so i found i love the obnoxiously loud throaty sound and i think there gonna stay that way unless the misses is on with me then ill put the baffles in but man i love the way they sound. just thought id share my love of V&H with no baffles.

I'd consider it if I didn't ride through town every day. I'd get busted over and over.

V&H baffles

I rode around the block with my baffles removed last summer, I noticed that the bottom end torque was nowhere near as strong as with the baffles installed.

I removed mine and left them out for while.... found that it was a ittle too loud.... Scoot mentioned to me that he cut his baffles in half and reinstalled them....... I did the same. The sound is perfect. No loss of torque. Still as loud as any Harley, but not obnoxiously loud.

I just cut them in half with a hacksaw and put them back without the packing...... Voila!!! Perfect sound!!

They set off every car alarm!! LOL

At the end of this video clip, when all the bikes stop, we are right behind Nico with a camera & microphone & you can hear his pipes quite clearly.

Hmmm...
Maybe not all that clearly. I just listened to the video as down loaded from Photobucket & it doesn't sound nearly as good as what I uploaded.

Maybe I should just extract a high quality sound bite & post that.

Oh, well yeah you won't get much sound out of those 0.25" diameter speakers.

But YOU already KNOW what it sounds like.
