It was our holiday today here, I celebrated by working in the yard again. Happy July 4th everyone!

We are doing our 4th tonight. My Sister-in-law and niece from Iowa is coming to dinner along with my sister and her husband. This is the first time we have all gotten together since my brother's passing last November. I am a little uneasy about the whole thing. I am sure emotions will be running high. Anyway I am BBQ'ing pork steaks with baked beans and cole slaw. My sis is bringing a pasta salad and Sis-in-law is bringing a vege salad. We have Ice cream and cake for desert. This will be a dry party with only soda and lemonade for drinks. Not going to push my luck by having any booze.
