DARK SIDE Info please.....

The power of the dark side has my attention. I plan to choose between:

1. Michelin HydroEdge with Green X
2. General Altimax HP
3. Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread

My question is, will a 205/65/16 fit without modification??
I know that many 205/60/16 tires are run OK, but, the x/65/x gets my Odo/Speedometer closer to true. There are more tires available in 205/65/16. Fit with no mods is my only concern.

Many thanks!

They should fit fine, but you will have a gap of about 2 credit cards thickness between the tire sidewall and the swingarm. I am not certain if you have to grind down some of the swingarm gusset to make them fit or not.

Sounds a little too close for comfort to me CJ. If it is that close I would think the 60.

I am running the 205x60x16 Goodyear Assurance and have not had a rub yet the gap is close but as we all know tyres grow slightly when you are moving,so it does not seem to be an issue.
