Anybody else have one?

I picked up a Vulcan VN2000A over the weekend, due to the wet weather I haven't had the chance to ride it much yet, So far all I can say is that it's one powerful Beast! Anybody else have a 2000?

I've always found them intriguing. Do they still make them?

I don't believe they are still making the big bore . I think the biggest they make now is the 1700 which is proving to be very dependable , and capable of big miles .... I know a guy with a 2000 but haven't seen him around town lately ..I'd like to ride it and compare it to my 1700 .... his bike is very interesting ....custom paint , Harley bat wing , Harley trunk and I think his side bags are Harley .... after market mags , I believe vance and hines exhaust ....last time I saw him he was getting ready to turn like 50k .... He had no complaints .

The V2k Vulcans are real torque monsters....one of the biggest complaints have been the tranny having second gear issues, and the other is the thing eats rear tires for breakfast. Other than that, they are powerful, comfortable, and make a great mile eater. I believe the last year of production was 2009. They are a 121 c.i. or 2053cc long stroke push rod overhead valve twin injected 8 valve setup.

It does have a ton of torque, that's for sure. Not a whole lot of aftermarket goodies available for it. I'm enjoying it though, very comfortable bike.

I have owned one since 2008. Took it to Sturgis and was only out run by sport bikes. Awesome sound with a set of V&H's on it.

Bought a Vaquero this year and do not plan on any power mods other than the Cobra Tri-Ovals.

If I feel the need for massive torque and acceleration even with 2 up I 'll just take the VN2K out for the day.

They are 125 CID, 2053 CC's 119 HP, 141 # torque. ,at least that is what mine was, after my goodies were installed.(It was made from 2004, until 2010( only the LT for the last year).

I did a little research and came up with lower wind deflectors from a 1700 will work with a slight modification to the top mounting hole. I found a set of NOS on ebay for 30 bucks and put them on today :)
