LED tail lights

Does anyone know of plug and play LED tail lights for the 2008 Nomad?
I know they are available for the Yamaha but I haven't seen any for the Nomad.
Thanks

I know that we can buy led lights with a push and twist base just like the 1156 & 1157 bulbs. Ive seen them in stores here, Im sure they would have them near you as well.

No, that's not what I'm looking for.
I'm looking for an LED board, I think they have about 100 LED's on them.

I doubt you can buy one that is Nomad specific, but I did read somewhere that someone made their own board.

Jestephens (a member here) made his own. Here's a link to a video he made of it:

Has anyone used the GEN-20-R-1157 from Custom Dynamics?
Seems like 48 LED's would be pretty bright.

Funny you should mention LED brake lights. I just added more to the stock LED that came with the bike.

In addition to the original 16 LEDs in the brake light I added two strips of 65 LEDs each and the license plate has 36 more LEDs. All operate as brake and running lights and are connected to a Back Off module.

Before anyone says anything about spending the weekend adding to the bike rather than riding, the weather here was clear and sunny . . . with 20-40 mph winds frequently gusting into the 50s. Mid 60s mph last night.

Looks like a winner! Anyone else have any experience with this particular replacement light?

I did a chop and paste on my M50- it took a bit of work!

after:

But it was a nice upgrade!

I would like to get these, I'm sure I can make them work, just haven't found the $$ yet.

Try Radiantz. You see their products sold by all the other vendors but it's 5-10% cheaper to buy right from them.

Try Custom Dynamics @ http://www.customdynamics.com/motorcycle_led_bulbs.htm

specifically though, a rear taillight board ... http://www.customdynamics.com/Kawaski_tail_retro.htm

call them or go online and chat with Kristen. tell her Rick from Langley, BC, Canada sent you. I'm sure the 99-06 will fit but Kristen will do you right.
She set me up with everything I needed for my '06. I didn't go with the lrg. rear tail light board only because I couldn't afford it and change out all the other lights to LED. I went with the round tailight like are in the run/turn/brake
