Ape Hangers for 06 Nomad 1600
Trying to find a set of Ape Hangers around 13 inches tall for my Nomad. Do not want to have to change cables. Prefer Black but Chrome if I must nothing fancy or expensive just need to aleviate some shoulder neck and back pain. Looking for a Brand name or place to go to order them and any advice anyone has about them. Thank you for your help.

11" Santee Dresser Bars are what I put on mine a few months back. I love them!

TC, I just did this and got all my info from Jared. You don't have to change any of the cabling. In fact the cabling seems to fit perfectly. The clutch hose is just fine, but the brake hose willneed to be re-routed behiond the tripple tree.
So in otherwords, none of the cables/hoses need to be replaced. Only the brake line needs to be re-routed.

Nice Bars Jared !
However , apehangers don't work for me, my right hand goes too sleep to easily. I tried a set on a buddy's HD Heritage Softatail and my hand was numb within 5 min. |

ape hangers
love the look on your bike but you still cut wires I really dont want to risk anything like that moving around is one thing but would prefer not to cut anything. I may decide to hide them later when It is not peak of rides and ralleys.

I did that to run the wires internally. If you wanted to run your electrical on the outside of the bars, you wouldn't have to cut anything.

excellent
thats sounds good then do you think 12 inchers would work as well I am 6ft 2 and tired of shoulder and upper back pain. Also the pullback on factory bars is 14 inches only 8.5 inches on the santee bars not sure how that translates but will it mean i lean forward more to grip.

Thank you
Yeah all the measurements are quite confusing. Now the only problem is finding a place that has the bars in stock called two places already and the are on backorder till june 18-25 and I am going to the dragons tail on June 19 figures.
