New Darkside & 3,500 mile trip planned.

Well, I am doing two things as a first. Just ordered a Dunlop sp5000 CT and am planning my longest trip yet. Will leave NE Oklahoma on June 24th and ride to NC to meet with a couple from Tulsa. We will ride a few days out of Asheville, NC and my return trip (if I am not physically shot!) will be to ride the Natchez Trace from Nashville to Natchez before returning home. Going to NC, I will ride the Cherohala Skyway and the lower part of the Blue Ridge Parkway. I am planning on camping much of the time as well. Will post a review of the Darkside and the ride when I return.

Hey Don, I hope you have a great trip and a lot of fun. I think you'll love the c/t. I put one on and I don't think I'll ever go back to a m/t!

I have a great ride to get you ready for that cross country trip! I'm doing an Iron Butt ride on the 18th! I think that would be a great way for you to condition your backside for your longer trip.

Mo, where are you riding for the Iron Butt? BTW, car tire is looking very good. Only have about 150 miles so far and sweet spot seems to be around 34 or 35 psi. Cornering and ride very good.

Don, the route is Tulsa, St. Louis, Memphis, back to Tulsa. Unfortunately, the guys that were going to ride it with me have backed out. So, it looks like our attempt has been cancelled. I don't think it'd be a good idea for me to do it by myself. :(
