More cruise control help
Another wiring question. I'm having trouble locating the blue/red wire from the junction/fuse box. Anyone know where I should be looking or do you have another option. One of the wires from here is red/blue with gray lines across. I don't know if I should be looking at wires below the fuse box or ??? Thanks

From Gadget's instructions: "Grey = This wire provides lighting for the switch. Connect to any powered wire (except bulb) in your headlight bucket or the Red/Blue wire out of the fuse box (power before brake switch). "

You will find red/blue wires in the headlight bucket. These provide power to the running lights.

Switched means a circuit which is powered only after the ignition switch is on and the engine has been started. The running lights, tail light and headlight are examples of these.
Except bulb usually means anything except the headlight circuit. Power before brake switch means on the input side of the circuit going to the brake switch. After the brake switch would be in between the switch and the brake light. Hope this helps.

The reason they say "before the brake switch" is because the wire supplying the power to the brake switch is always hot when the key is turned on, however on the output side of the brake switch, it's only hot when the brake is actuated (between brake switch and brake light).
