Oh Happy Day!
Well the day finally came. I got the Nomad delivered home from the shop today. I'm thrilled with the work done. The paint looks frick'in awesome ! !! Everything seems brand new. They had it all washed and shining, and there a window of dry weather where it wouldn't get wet and dirty coming home. I'll be in the garage all day tomorrow putting things in the trunk, rain gear away, maps in their place....Just chill'in and enjoying having it home. I'll be posting some photos of the new paint. But they won't do it justice I'm sure.

Looking forward to seeing her Rick. Isn't it nice when you have work done by someone else and it's all good?

I'm think'in that you guys won't see much of a difference in any photos. The main difference is the fairing and fuel tank are now a two tone. The two colours are /can seem pretty similar. The lighting is what makes the difference. It can look like it's all blk. and then if you move a little and the lighting changes, it'll make the pearl gray "POP ! !" I'll do my best to show it off. Other than the paint everything is pretty much the same though. The crash bar chaps are a one piece item now. I have the "HogTunes" tweeter pkg. installed on the inner fairing.
They're forecasting some sunshine tomorrow so maybe I can get some half decent photos.

Rickyboy, I've been pondering a fairing, I like yours 'cause of the gages, I really wanna get some tunes and knock down some buffetting.
What brand is that?

Well here are a some photos of the bike after being fixed and painted from the accident. As I've said, it's hard to tell sometimes, if there are two colours. The sunlight brings out the Harley Davidson "pearl gray".
But in the shade it looks close to being the stock black. So the top half of both the fairing and the fuel tank are the pearl gray,....along with the entire tour pak. The rest of the bike is the stock black. I'm happy with the way it turned out. I have some ideas using more of the pearl gray, that might get done somewhere down the road. But for now I'm content the way it sits.

The gauges are nice. I really like having the tachometer. I've always driven my vehicles, by the tach. So when this came to me with a tach. I was pretty happy. The windscreen isn't the stock one that you usually see. It's a bit wider and was cut to fit the wing of the fairing. That helps a lot !! That, and the "butterfly's" on the bottom edge of the fairing. Then add the larger lowers that meet up with the "butterfly's" and I have next to no air turbulence. I love it.
