Spring has sprung...the flowers have riz

Wonder where the Nomads iz........

Sorry for the bad rhyme. Now that Spring is here, I thought I'd take a moment to encourage everyone to dust off your Nomads and get out and ride as much as possible. However, I know what everyone is saying... "Yep, I know it's Spring. Noone has to remind me to ride"...LOL.

KawaNOW has several Rally's planned this year including our National Rally to be held June 14-16 in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. If you can, make plans to attend. You won't regret seeing lines of Nomads and close to 100 Kawanowians.

And, if you can't attend in June, try to attend our Western Rally being held August 23-25 in Crescent City, California.

There will be other smaller rallys held in several spots in the US, so keep your eyes on the forum for dates and times.

Take care and above all.... ride safe.

Thanks,
Trip

We have been having great weather. Hardly any cold weather in February and none to speak of in March. I have ridden some almost every day. Ain't life great?

Yeah, Yeah, we hear you, Trip. As always, you and the other Texicans just can't wait to rub our roses in it this time of year. Spring is here! Spring is here! Yeah, right. ::) ::)

Bike is off life support, polished, and ready to go, but the projected high today is 39, with rain, and tomorrow will be 35 with freezing rain. But go ahead and have your annual, communal snicker. You're the leader, so goad the rest into it. Yeehaw! Get your little delight in so officiously tweaking the noses of your northern brethren, all so masterfully cloaked in being thoughtful as the riding season begins. Don't worry. We can take it........ Cause we all know your July and August are so hot the asphalt melts and the humidity makes the whole State of Texas feel like a docker's armpit. ;) ;)

Hey Trip, Is there a thread that lists all those rallys in one place? If so that would be easier for guys like me that can't remember long enough to click between threads. (maybe I'm the only one! )

Spring has sprung but we still have snow
Riding the Nomad is still a no go
When we get out our Nomads it will be with pride
By then the southern states are too hot ride

Ya, no spring here either. Got 8 inches of heavy wet stuff last night. Had to fire up both snow blowers this morning just to get out of the driveway. More forecast for the rest of the week.

84 F here today. I've gotten a good base burn going already.

May just have to ride to Myrtle beach in a couple days.

Don't you just love the south?

You should enter the poem writing contest at the National rally. :)

Sorry all you northerners are still suffering....but I actually rode to work today for the first time this year! It was about 39 when I left so I put on the heated gear, but its gonna be about 57 when I get off work and the sun is blazin'! While a bit late, spring is springin' up here in the Pacific NW. It just seems weird not strapping on my umpire gear this year.... ::) .
