Couple on Red and Black on I-75 in N. FL and S. GA

While in a car I passed a couple riding on a red and black Nomad pulling a small trailer going south on I-75 through S. Georgia and N. Florida last Sunday. Poor people were soaked to bone in the down pour...but at least they were riding. ;-)

That would have been Tamminator and I coming back from Virginia via Cleveland, TN. Yes, we were soaked and it was a dreadful storm. The bike is actually Red on Red. That was our camper we were pulling.

Well, it wasn't a black Nomad so it couldn't have been going very fast. <ducking>

I passed you once in South Georgia and then later in North Florida.
It was raining so hard the motorcycle looked red and black, but red on red it was. I passed you just as you pulled off the interstate in north Florida probably looking for shelter from the rain though you looked pretty soaked already.

Soaked is an understatement. We thought it would be like the earlier shower we had gone through, a nice light rain that we would be able to get through. We had our gear with us but we decided to chance it. Oh no...it ended up being monsoon like. We ended up staying the night in hotel.

As for black being faster, therefore being able to out run the rain...I don't think a rocket would have out run this stuff.

But, one thing about it you will drive if the rain ever stops. If is also a lot cooler when you ride through the rain. If I could just see better it wouldn't be so darn bad.

Hope you had a nice time Coach.
