Steak Marinade Recipe

I just enjoyed a tasty steak. I got creative and used this recipe. The end result was a tendor, juicy, succulent steak.

1 cup of Italian salad dressing

1 cup of Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce

1/4 cup of Soy Sauce

1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce

1 pound Sirloin Steak

Mix all of the above ingredients utill smooth and gooey. Place the meat in the marinade and turn a few times to coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Steak Marinade Recipe

I slightly altered it from a recipe my wife found on all recipes.com. The origional recipe was voted 5 out of 5 by 176 people. The origional recipe didn't call for any soy sauce but called for 1/2 cup of worcestershire sauce instead. It also called for 2 teaspoons of garlic pepper seasoning. I left out the garlic beacuse I'm a vampire and I decided to add the soy sauce because last sunday I tried a chicken marinade recipe my friend gave me that was delicious.

The chicken marinade was

1 cup soy sauce

1 cup cooking oil

2 cups Sprite

Marinade for 24 hours. For cooking oil I used 1/2 canola oil and 1/2 olive oil.

The end result was VERY tendor and succulent.

*note: If you marinade using this recipe flip the meat after 12 hours. The soy sauce settles and the cooking oil floats. I failed to do that so one side of the meat was brown and the other side was yellow but it was still delicious.

lololol...Don't use 'tender and succulent' too much when you talk about food....you're still on probation with your man card!

Well I must be part vampire because I can't stand garlic. I thought I got my man card back! Besides there are no other words that can describe what I just ate

Sounds good man. I'll have to give it a try. I'm assuming you threw it on the grill?

I like to eat lunch at a local chain of Mongolian BBQ places. You know, you put raw meats (beef, chicken, pork) in a bowl, add fresh raw veggies, noodles, and then add different sauces to get the taste you want (sweet/sour, spicy, teriyaki, etc), and they cook it on a 1200 degree flat grill. There's a big ole bowl of minced garlic in juice and I usually put a big heaping spoonful on my bowl before they cook it. Add some sriracha sauce, and man - that's a meal! I go home at night and my wife can tell where I ate lunch.

I like to "mop" the meat with the marinade as I'm grilling it. It seems to infuse even more of the flavor. That way too there's no marinade to have to discard.
