New thunder air kit installed with my custom touch

The thunder kit is not designed to easily remove the filter. You have to reach behind the throttle body plate and removed the nuts which are a pain of the @#$$% location.

I drilled and tapped two new spacers screwed them into the back plate and then drilled two holes on the outside cover . I then placed two countersunk screws into the spacers. I then placed the second chrome cover again drilled and tapped three new holes to hold the plate in place.

The outside chrome screws are hidden by the emblem cover but can be easily remove for cleaning now.. This mod that I designed is highly recommend for those that have purchased the Thunder air kit with no front screw access.

Cheers
