Thanks Jared, I wouldn't want my reputation to get better.
I was kinda proud of my negative 50 karma on the old KawaNOW site

With Andy Griffith now gone....I really couldn't picture TC filling his shoes....so it's good to know he doesn't live in Mayberry....

The water temps should be around 60-63, which isn't life ending for a short swim, but it isn't Florida either.

Actually I did go for a nice little dip in the water, but it's not ocean water. It's Lake Erie.

I just entered 42 fuel receipts into my maintenance log.

My fuel economy has been great on the trip, averaging 41.60 mpg. My highest has been 50.83 and my lowest 34.69.

I've been recording a bunch of stats and when the trip is over I'll share them all.

How do you expect to solve the puzzle if you have missing pieces??? Turn around and get back out there! Don't be a quitter. Quitters never win and winners never quit! (I think Zig Ziglar said that.)

Hey Jared, when you decide to fill in those last 2 states, let me know. I'll ride with you and show you around my neck of the woods. I'm in the North Eastern part of Oklahoma and it's only about a 2 hr ride into Arkansas.

There is a HUGE bike rally in Fayetteville, AR called Bikes, Blues, & BBQ. It's a lot of fun and there are some great rides in that area of the state. Probably some of the best riding around. Here is the website for the event: http://www.bikesbluesandbbq.org/ It's always the end of September, this year is Sept. 26-29. They don't have the dates for next year posted yet, but will probably be around the same time. This part of the country is beautiful that time of year too. The trees start changing colors and the fall season is just starting.

Listen to me, I'm trying to sell you on it. I'm glad you're enjoying your trip and can't wait to see your write-up about it when you get back home!! Be safe, bud.

I meant Vince Lombardi. Really, I did. Thanks for the correction. I've been misquoting it for years.
