Did You Ride Today? Where To and How Far?

Way to go Dave. I may take another ride later today. Got some things to do around the house then who knows.

Glad to see you're still posting Brad!! I was afraid you might have left the fold. Don't let some people get to you.

Did You Ride Today? Where To and How Far?

i know i don't post everyday, but i do ride daily to work..40 miles round trip. I did go 200 miles today. Went to visit relative in hospital out of town. It did get a little warm toward end of trip but still i nice day. Anything is better than the 102plus temps in August.

Dave thats a beautiful thing. I road into Austin,Texas today from Lake Travis,Texas. Dropping into the low areas of the hills was a bit chilly. Just did errands etc....and went to our house in Austin and watered all our trees. Just rode back out to the Lake and the Temperature was reading 103* and it was warm. =r=

Did You Ride Today? Where To and How Far?

Haven't been posting on this thread, but I'm so glad to
have gotten a nice cool weekend (Arizona, slightly under
100), I feel compelled. 100 miles Saturday and 200 on
Sunday. Would've gone more on Sunday but ran into
(not literally) a bicycle rally thing. A multitude of bicyclists
riding on my twisty road up the mountain. Not that I'm a
speed demon or anything, but would've had to ride much
slower than I wanted and it gets a little tight when the
bicyclists decide to ride two abreast and hog the lane.

Not bashing the bicyclers. Just prefer not to try to ride the
twistys along with them.

I did peel off and explore a road and a couple small towns
I'd never been too/through before though. That's always
fun. Now I can say I've been to Bagdad.

Also snapped me a new signature photo while enroute.

Thanks Gene. Really just a couple little teaser rides. Left me
wanting more. Really getting anxious for some cooler
weather. Shouldn't be long now. It'll start cooling off at
night and in the mornings over the next month. By mid
October it should be perfect through May.

30 miles to charge the battery up a little. I had left the GPS plugged in for the last couple days and wouldn't start. On the tender now.

Did You Ride Today? Where To and How Far?

Rode Lucille to work last night, and the round trip will complete in the pre-dawn this morning, to be followed by 14 miles on my mountain bike.
This morning's bicycle ride will put me over 200 miles since August 13th, with 130 of those in September.
